Has your eye makeup ever betrayed you, ladies?!

By that we mean, have you suddenly developed an irritation, infection or possibly a sudden allergy to your favorite mascara, eye liner, eye shadow or even concealer?

Well, we have occasionally, and at the moment, we can't tell which eye makeup product is the bad guy.

We LOVE drawing in a signature cat eye EVERY day.....the winged eyeliner look achieved with eye liner in pencil form.

We also use a grey or brown eye shadow powder, 2 mascaras and yes, an under eye liquid concealer.

Our irritation features itchiness + redness around the winged tip area where we draw in our cat eye. The rest of the eye area  is fine. 

Just a weird irritation.

We also TEST OUT a lot of various skin care products for our beauty blog, so, the culprit could be ANYTHING.

So...how often should we TOSS OUT our eye makeup to play safe?

NYC 99 Cent Lipstick: Would You Wear It? We do!

99 cent lipstick.....

Yeah, right.....But does ANYONE really wear it?

We often do. And we are in LOVE with NYC's Ultra Lip Wear in BLOSSOM.

In fact, we were grocery shopping late this afternoon, when a woman of Indian descent approached us and introduced herself.

She had long, glossy black hair, dark olive skin and big brown eyes and was wearing zero makeup.

I whipped the tube out of my bag and handed it to her. She memorized it. Thanked me. And walked away.

Here is a photo of me wearing it last year. You can get a small idea how it looks. I would describe Blossom as a pink-y fuchsia with blue undertones. I am a lousy photographer, as we can all see.
