Is New 2015 S.I. Swimsuit Cover Showing Way Too Much Or Have We All Become Naked-De-Sensitized?!

For some strange reason, we were MORE alarmed by Hannah Davis' sexy cover for Sports Illustrated's new 2015 swimsuit issue, than Kim Kardashian's recent Paper Magazine full frontal lay-out and naked butt cover. See the KK photo reveal here.

Why?

We're not sure.

We have seen Kim Kardashian take so many selfies and appear in tons of super sexy, almost nude pics, that we got used to seeing Kim unclothed. NOT so shocking anymore. It appears as though we have become a naked-de-sensitized society, for lack of a better phrase.

And KK is NOT alone. More + more celebs are posing nearly naked, and it seems as if the envelope has been pushed to the brink.

As far as S.I.'s gorgeous Hannah Davis's major bikini plunge, well, er, it looks almost vulgar. Or are we alone in that thought?

We can clearly see that Hannah gets a Brazlian wax. Isn't this TMI or too much information?

We will leave it at that......

In case you want to try a Brazilian bikini wax, there are D.I.Y. kits. Here's one by Extra Strength Brazilian Bikini Waxing & Shaping Kit ($10.99).

Urban Decay Creates Clever Mascara Re-Boot To Revive Old, Clumpy, Dry Lashes

We ALL know it's NEVER wise to wear mascara +  other makeup to bed, because you wake up with crumpy, dry lashes.
.

Or maybe you've been at the office since 7 AM, and you've got a public engagement to go to straight from work, but your lashes look worn out + dry.

So...how do we revive mascara successfully?!

You can  re-apply from the tube, but putting new mascara over old mascara will NOT get rid of the clumps + uneven edges.

But now there is a brilliant solution!

Urban Decay has created the Mascara Resurrection ($16) for their Spring Collection.

It's a COOL, new beauty product in 2015. It's a serum, actually. And it cleans up dry, brittle, tired lashes. It bathes them, so to speak, so you can then re-apply your regular mascara OVER the UD serum for perfectly smooth, clean, healthy lashes Yay!

Mascara Resurrection says it BEST---Reboot, Refresh, Renew.

So what's it all about?

Here's how UD describes their 2015 breakthrough beauty product:

Our lightweight, oil-free formula contains a special blend of ingredients to moisturize lashes while helping with mascara wear. Copper powder and panthenol condition and bind moisture to the hair shaft, improving lash health while giving your mascara new life.

Love it!

Loving Sarah Hyland's Super Long Blonde Extensions + Flawless Makeup

Although she is naturally a brunette, we think "Modern Family's" Sarah Hyland looks even better as a blonde. Take a look at her honey blonde highlights + super long extensions!

The petite, 24-year-old actress has been wearing the new look since last November, and we saw her again recently and we think she looks FAB!

Plus, the young star's makeup ALWAYS appears flawless. Of course she has great big eyes + full brows that  only add to her cuteness.

If you love Sarah's honey blonde highlights, you can COPY the look by picking up a DIY kit, like this one from Garnier Nutrisse ($5.95).

Gisele's SuperBowl-SuperModel $128 Flannel Shirt Style: All SOLD OUT Now!

We LOVE model Gisele Bundchen's laid-back Superbowl 49 style from last night's Patriots victory. Her sexy, Pats QB husband Tom Brady, now adds 4 SuperBowl rings to his growing collection, in the thrilling PATs win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Gisele was dressed down in navy tee, skinny jeans, black, low-heeled riding boots and FAB red, white + blue, $128 Rails Kendra Plaid shirt. And let's not forget---the black leather jacket tied around her small, supermodel waist.

By the way, the cute shirt is SOLD OUT just about everywhere. However--there is one in size small selling on EBAY at the moment for $127.50. OMG!

No surprise. People like to copy famous, rich celebs. And why not?

This is a great, easy-to-copy look for a sporting event.

Of course, you DON'T have to have the same RAILS flannel shirt. You could copy the look for a lot less, and still look great!

Come Out Of Your Cocoon: L'Oreal Paris' New Voluminous Butterfly Intenza!

To achieve BIG doe eyes, you need great black liquid liner, of course, an amazing mascara and oh yeah....a super effective mascara brush/wand.

Check out L'Oreal Paris' new Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Blackest Black Mascara ($8.99, at ULTA).

This cool mascara has been out on the market for about a month now. We adore it because of the well-loved Voluminous formula and this unique, double-wing brush/wand.

Why?

Because the brush s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s lashes outward. "The unique Cocoon Fibers create silky delicate lashes that look spectacular," according to the folks at L'Oreal Paris.

GMA anchor Amy Robach has mentioned often that L'Oreal Voluminous is her FAVE mascara. We hope she tries this NEW Voluminous Butterfly Intenza!

We LOVE trying new drugstore mascaras, because they are cheaper than the fancy, high-ends, plus do the job nicely.

Look what Amy says about the Voluminous formula that she takes everywhere, even on the plane:

..."But not just any mascara, this tube is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. It lasts and looks great all day in all weather and my eyelashes have never looked fuller.

I've tried the more expensive department store varieties, and they don't even come close."

Get out of your cocoon this 2015, ladies! Try new beauty products, and see if they make a difference.

Tea tree oil.

We've all heard about its great, medicinal properties, especially for hair + scalp.

And if we believe ALL the wonderful things tea tree oil can do, then buying a special, tea tree oil shampoo should be a no-brainer.

TEA TREE oil can:

1. Rid hair of impurities, dirt, heavy product build-up, etc.
2. Unclog pores in scalp to prevent dandruff.
3. Promote circulation to encourage healthy growth.
4. Moisturize hair + scalp.
5. Offer shine to hair.

Hair giant Paul Mitchell is boasting about his Tea Tree Special Shampoo. It's not cheap at $23 for almost 17 oz. at Walgreens.

But a little goes a long way, and you will enjoy this minty-smelling and invigorating shampoo. This stuff will give you a kick-start in the morning. And your hair will look and feel super-clean.

Of course, if you are really tring to save a buck, you could buy your own little bottle of tea tree oil and add a few drops in your shampoo yourself.

We found some tea tree oil at CVS for $8.49 a bottle.

We are going to try this method. Just DON'T tell Paul Mitchell.

Y- Facelift Is Quick + Effective For Youthful Contours In 2015

Lately, the entire cosmetic enhancement world appears to be ALL about the injections. With a few stings of  a needlelost volume can be restored, cheekbones curved + enlarged, wrinkles + folds smoothed away, etc.

That's why folks are talking about the Y-Lift facelift, a more sophisticated filler session.

We knew immediately what this beauty treatment was ALL about.

Consider the letter "Y.".Look at the shape of the letter itself---width at top, narrowness at bottom.
And that is EXACTLY how plastic surgeons define the perfect, youthful face:

The widest portion of the face should begin at the forehead and/or cheekbones heading down to the narrowest part of the face, which should ideally end with the chin.

And what the Y-Lift aims to do, is just that---give the patient more youthful facial contours WITHOUT the surgery + major down-time.

We guess this could be called the minimally invasive facelift of 2015.

So the procedure still consists of facial filler, but it's done in a more artfully + precise manner, if we are to believe all the beauty hype.

We learned more about it here at the Y-Lift.com website.

The Y LIFT® procedure is performed using a specialized titanium instrument which is inserted beneath the skin and then maneuvered throughout designated parts of the facial region to instantly lift and contour the muscles, fascia and fat underlying the skin. Once lifted, hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally present in the skin is used to hold the newly elevated position in place at which point the titanium tube is removed from the treatment site. The rejuvenated face is then “sculpted” to accent and highlight each individual’s beauty.

No one enjoys going UNDER the knife for ANY type of surgery, especially when it comes to plastic surgery.

At least the Y-Lift offers an alternative with nice-looking results WITHOUT the anesthesia, incisions + stitches.

The cost of a Y-Lift varies from location to location but  generally runs between $3,000 and $7,000.

So...is this newest beauty procedure for 2015 worth the money spent?

We like to refer to RealSelf.com, where REAL plastic surgeons + dermatologists can give you the honest dope on all the latest treatments + procedures. Check them out here.
