Cellulite Is Everywhere--Even On Super Amazing Athletes

Cellulite.

We talk about this often, especially when warm weather beckons along with short-shorts + bikinis.

Sad to read about some women though, who HATE their dimpled fat so much, that they refuse to put on anything brief enough that shows their cellulite.

Look---if you are female, chances are you HAVE cellulite. The stats show us that about 90% ofwomen have cellulite. Cellulite is formed in our DNA. Some women are lucky in that they don't have much, but they are in the minority. And yeah.....even super amazing athletes have cellulite.

And for proof take a look at Serena Williams' rock-hard, tip-top-shape body. There she is in April of this year. And you can see Serena's cellulite along her upper thighs/lower buttocks.

We say, So what!

Cellulite is NORMAL. And to the myths out there that as long as you exercise, eat healthy + lose weight you won't have any, that's a bunch of baloney. Tall, thin, athletic, curvy, heavy, petite, short, and couch potato, cellulite targets all shapes, size, races and nationalities.

Cellulite has everything to do with our connective tissue arrangement. With cellulite, our fat cells become bigger and protrude through our skin's collagen creating that bumpy or dimpled look on our thighs, buttocks, bellies and even on our arms.

So, we CANNOT get rid of cellulite but we can mask it with creams + serums. Cellulite products that contain ingredients like L-Carnitine, caffeine, aminophylline help to smooth out the skin for several hours, helping to reduce its appearance.

Adonia Legtone Serum is a popular product that celebs like to use, but maybe a bit pricey at $79 a bottle.

We say.....Let's enjoy our lady lumps now before summer is over!

Yet Another Sophia Loren-Inspired Cat Eye Demo: Difficult Look To Master

The cat eye.

It has to be one of the most glamorous + sexy eye makeups you can try on. You know it when you see movie star Sophia Loren---absolutely the QUEEN of the cat eye, or winged eye liner with the feline flick.

Sophia Loren has ALWAYS been our beauty icon, and her extraordinary eyes are part of this beguiling woman. Those sexy eyes are just as captivating as the rest of her unique facial features.

The cat eye is part of our daily makeup routine. It is a smoky eye with strong liner and that signature "wing." Certainly difficult to master. Our daily cat eye is rather tame next to this movie icon. We do NOT use false eyelashes. We do use a smoky gray shadow to define the eye lid +beyond

Here I am trying to "wing it." I feel that my eyes do not match in this photo. So HARD to get both eyes even with this classic eye look.

Then again, this is NOT a professional photo. Just me with natural daylight. No photoshop. I wouldn't know how to do it. Er...I look like a slug next to Sophia Loren, but I just wanted to show my readers my signature makeup look.

To copy-cat the Sophia Loren cat eye, we found a super YouTube demo by a stunning woman named Teni Penosian.

You MUST check out this cat eye tutorial. AMAZING!

Meow, ladies!

E! Host Giuliana Rancic Lovin' Her Blonde Ambition Tour: Would You Lighten Up?

Now THAT's dramatic!

We did a double-take when we saw E!'s most famous television host reveal her new, very BLONDE hair color last evening.

Giuliana has played around with several hair color changes in the past, but this one REALLY grabs attention.

We think it's a sexy look, Miss G., but best of luck trying to maintain the flaxen strands, minus the dyeing damage, brassiness, frizzies, breakage and all that other junk that can happen to those with very light colored hair.

We color our dark hair and suffer damage, too, but when you go lighter, you pay a bigger price.

John Frieda's got a nice collection of hair products that offer you blonde beauties lots of TLC, like this one, Sheer Blonde Color Renew Tone Correcting Shampoo, ($5.99, at Walgreen's).

We think Giuliana's teeth really dazzle under this Playboy bombshell blonde look.

We applaud her for taking the chance. It's a BIG deal when you switch up your hair color in a major way.

We prefer Giuliana best with darker roots, but that is only our humble opinion.

We think she looks AMAZING with longer hair, er extensions, too.

Giuliana says she is LOVIN' her new, blond locks, and we bet husband Bill is enjoying her blonde ambition tour.

Would you lighten up for summer?

Summer Sandal Season Means Smooth, Soft Feet: Try This In the Shower

We have written here several times before about the calluses under our feet. We usually go to extremes by investing in one of those almost dangerous callus razors. You can pick one up for about $10. This beauty foot device actually shaves away dead skin. These razors come with replaceable double-edged blades.
.

But callus razors take some practice. We're not kidding. If you push too hard on the razor device, you can slice off a bit too much skin, and end up with bloody feet.

There's got to be another method. And we have stumbled on to it. No pain, either---just a weird-massage-like feeling. And you do this in the shower.

It costs $45, but if this brushing-gizmo can do what it claims....and deliver smooth, soft, callus-free feet, then we're in!

It's called the FootMate.

1. You place the suction cups (found underneath device) and stick them to the bottom of your shower or bathtub.
2. Then you apply the FootMate liquid soap that comes with the gizmo all over your feet. You could also use your own favorite body wash.
3.Now rub your feet back + forth over the FootMate bristles.

You get a nice soapy massage with the benefits of good circulation + excellent exfoliation.
Check out the demo we found at Joyus.com.

We want a FootMate NOW! We are tired of using a callus shaver for our Hobbit feet.

How about you, mate?

Would you invest $45 for a FootMate that gives you smooth, soft feet for the summer sandal season?

JustNatural: Organic Skin Care Inspired By Nature

Think about it.

The "purest plant oils, butters, botanical extracts and essentials from the best that nature has to offer."

Wouldn't you prefer these organic ingredients in your skin + hair care products?

Then JustNatural is an excellent beauty line to consider. We were lucky enough to receive 4 JustNatural items to try recently. And we must admit---these skin + hair care creams and serums appear to be just as effective and elegant as the big store brands.

As women, there is a lot of pressure to be beautiful with healthy, perfect, youthful skin + hair. So we rush out to buy whatever is hot in the beauty market with most of us not really knowing what chemicals + funky preservatives also share the ingredient list of these expensive products.

With JustNatural, you understand EXACTLY what you are getting in the company's extensive line of shampoos, soaps, anti-aging creams, scrubs, polishes, bath therapies and even skin care products for children.

It's rather simple for the JustNatural company philosophy:
Natural + Organic. Made in the USA. Vegan. Cruelty-Free. Chemical-Free. No GMO's. Paraben-Free. Alcohol-Free. Chemical-Free and Sulfate-Free.

And check out some of the 250 ingredients the company uses to create these wonderful skin care + hair care items:
Neem Oil. Hibiscus Flower Extract. Tucuma Butter. Argan Oil. Comfrey Root Extract. Etc.

Our favorite JustNatural product is the Anti-Aging Night Facial Cream ($56.99).

This is a lovely, light cream that feels  silky + nourishing. Plus it's packed with fine ingredients like Aloe Vera Leaf Gel, Geranium Rose Floral Water, Evening Primrose Oil, Grapeseed Extract, Borage Oil, Mango Fruit Extract, Shea Butter, Orange Blossom Floral Water, Jojoba Oil, Vegetable Emulsifier, Glycerin, Essential Oils of Carrot Seed, Myrrh, Vitamin E..

LOVE this cream. You wake up to skin that glows and is super smooth to touch.

We also received a fab Turbinado Brown Sugar Body Scrub ($27.99). Generous size! And this scrub is a winner---a terrific exfoliator that leaves the body invigorated and soft-to-the-touch. Made from freshly-cut sugar cane and enriched with apricot kernel oil, shea butter, grapefruit extract, to name a few. Smells so yummy!

We are running out of beauty space here to brag about JustNaturalSkinCare.com, but we also tried the company's  Proteins & Vitamins Hair Treatment ($49.99) and their Anti-Aging Renewal Serum ($37.99).

These skin  and hair care products are all FRESH, smell amazingly delicious and inspired by nature.

We think JustNatural is a must-try. Your skin can tell the difference.

Andy Cohen Presses RHOC Tamra Barney About Her Changing Face

If you watch a lot of the Real Housewives reality TV, then you notice when one of the gals has tinkered with her face, hair, body, and even her makeup.

Today we are looking at Tamra Barney, one of the original cast members of the "Real Housewives of Orange County," the first housewives show that hit the BRAVO marketplace.

Tamra Barney is quite the "little pistol." And yes, she can be sinister + vindictive, as we've been seeing this season on RHOC.

We've noticed this time around, that Tamra's face looks very taut with smaller eyes. As pretty as she is, Tamra looks hard.

And folks are wondering, "What did Tamra do to her face?!" It's all over Twitter and other social media outlets.

On Monday night, Tamra was a guest on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" show on BRAVO.

And playful Andy got Tamra in the HOT seat when he read aloud the top question of the night about the blonde reality star:

"What has Tamra Barney done to her face? Eyelift? Facelift? Her legs look great though."

Host Andy then put on the heat, adding....."Have you done something to your face?"

Tamra answered---"Nothing. Zero.".

Andy came back at Tamra suggesting she might have been having cosmetic injections, giving her very high cheekbones.. "I feel like I'm looking at some fillers," Andy said.

Tamra coyly told Andy to 'feel' her face for fillers. He did not.

But Andy did keep pursuing his line of beauty questions for Tamra.

"You have some stuff in your cheek, new stuff in your cheek. No?" Andy pushed.

Tamra finally admitted with a smirk...."Maybe just a little bit."

Take a look here at Tamra's face on Hulu.

We are no expert, but we don't think that fillers would make someone's face look so hard or the eye so small. Then did she have plastic surgery? Who knows.

To learn all about fillers, check out this excellent website---RealSelf.

What do you think?

Has Tamra Barney done anything to her face cosmetically?

Celebs Drinking Clay To Stay Skinny: Use Clay Mask Instead

Drinking clay to stay SKINNY?

We heard actress Shailene Woodley talking about that a few weeks ago. And today's British publication Daily Mail Online has a post about the latest diet fad.

Ingesting clay?

We were dumb-founded, indeed.  But apparently, it is a real thing, as long as the clay is from a company that is offering "certified clay for human consumption."

Longtime model Elle Macpherson is said to be a proud clay drinker, too. And Zoe Kravitz, also.

The clay consumption process appears to be simple:

Clay in your cup. Mix with water. Drink.

Why clay?

We know it makes for a super skin care mask as it draws out impurities and revs up circulation.

Clay is also loaded with magnesium, and that in itself, flushes out the toxins + heavy metals from the body. Well then---why not just take a magnesium powdered supplement?

We are not sure. But we do know that pregnant women are advised to stay away from clay-ingesting drinksBentonite clay appears to be a favorite clay for human consumption. We do know this clay is also wonderful as a facial mask. It is a deep pore cleanser---gets rid of dirt, grease, acne + any other bacteria on the face, delivering a healthy pink glow + clearness to the complexion.

Read this page about drinking clay. At least become educated about what you put into your body.

Before you start investing in clay drinks, PLEASE do your homework. Ask your dermatologist about it. Play SAFE, girls + boys.

We would rather wear it as a clay facial mask than drink it as a yucky, clay cocktail.

Would you drink clay to get skinny?
