Celebrating Eva Longoria Turning 39: Nothing Desperate Here!

On March 15th, Eva Longoria will turn 39. And we don't have to tell you, this woman looks gorgeous. Plus, she's smart, too. Just earned her master's degree last May.

We've been watching her new bangs for about 3 weeks now....And we LOVE them. We got rid of our bangs a few months ago, and now we are missing them.

Cosmetic Beauty Advances In 2014: There's A New Filler In Town Called Voluma!

It seems like celebrities are "filling up" so to speak, when it comes to cosmetic facial fillers. Some famous faces have been accused of filling up TOO much---like Madonna, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian, and so on.

We have no proof that the 3 ladies mentioned here, have ever used cosmetic fillers. But these celebs have been mentioned lots of times as having looked like their faces have been filled.

Since we are now in the new year, it's always interesting to see what cosmetic beauty advances have arrived. And in 2014, say welcome to Voluma!

It's made by the Juvederm company(Allergan) and it's a LONGER-lasting hyaluronic acid filler. Voluma is a newly FDA approved dermal filler. That means those beautiful, fuller, sculpted cheekbones remain that way for about 2 years!

NYC's Dr. Bruce Katz, Director of the Juva Skin & Laser Center has been injecting patients with Voluma for several months now. The cost is about $1,200 per syringe, but that's not bad, considering that regular fillers like Juvederm already cost about $900, and only last up to 4-6 months.

Still, those boots with a pretty dress or skirt or full length jeans would have killed it.

It looks wrong and yeah, a bit cheap with the cut-offs and extreme decolletage on display.

Playful Purple Hair Catches On....Nicole Richie + Ireland Baldwin Dye For The Trend

We were hoping this purple hair trend would quietly exit stage left with the originator herself, Kelley Osbourne, but apparently the lilac lushness is heating up in 2014!

Now add Nicole Richie and Ireland Baldwin to the playful purple hair list.

We LOVE Nicole's style, but this has disappointed us in a major way, because of her status as a fashion icon.

Yeah...lilac locks are cute and cool for a couple of weeks. Then it's time to move on.....If you're really young, then let it fly, baby!

Well, lovely ladies. Let the FADE begin, because that's what happens to colored hair, and when it comes to a purple(lilac) shade, we can imagine how fast the fading can be.
