Salma Hayek.
There's no doubt about her glamorous, sexy good looks, even more so at the age of 47.
Imagine our surprise when we saw her wearing a gorgeous accessory in the name of cool dude, Lenny Kravitz!
Wait a minute! There's something wrong with this picture.
Oh....Salma + Lenny were merely guests sitting in the front row of the wonderful Yves Saint Laurent spring/summer 2014 Paris Fashion Week show yesterday.
Oops....Salma's very wealthy husband, Francois-Henri Pinault was there with her.
There's no denying, Salma + Lenny make one, HOT pair! They stylishly match, too, as they posed for the cameras:
We LOVE Salma's one-shoulder LBD, or little black dress, if you know what we mean. She looks fab!
We love her raven hair worn in loose, layered waves.
And Lenny Kravitz. Well, what more can we say!
If you would like to copy Salma's sexy, one-shoulder LBD, check this out.
We found a much cheaper version for LESS than $32!
That's right. And it's from K-Mart:
AX Paris Women's Black Pleated One Shoulder Dress ($31.99, an online exclusive). get it at Kmart.com.
This inexpensive LBD features pleating detail down one side of the dress.
Wear it with a pair of black pumps + black clutch
and you're good to go!

Ladies---Watch Out!! September, October + November: Hair Fallout Doubles!
We first posted about autumnal hair fallout last November, after reading a fascinating article from Japan about hair loss during the months of September, October + November. And once again, we have been affected by this bizarre occurrence.
We are noticing MORE strands in our hairbrush. Tomorrow marks October 1st. So, we figure, we have another month of NORMAL hair-shedding to deal with.
We find it frightening, to say the least. We don't care how NORMAL it appears to be. Finding MORE hair in one's hairbrush, is never a calming thing.
Here is the article once again, from the Japanese newspaper, 'Yomiuri Shimbun:'
...OSAKA--"Like trees shedding their leaves, autumn is the time of year when humans are said to lose the most amount of hair. Some experts attribute this to damage caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays during summer, while others say autumn is a time when much of the hair is replaced by new growth. Hair care specialists suggest gentle shampooing and getting enough sleep to maintain a healthy mane." We never knew about this.
The article, written by staff writer Michiko Nakai , goes on to explain that most heads have between 100,000 - 140,000 strands of hair, and "each strand goes through 3 phases--the anagen phase of growth, the catagen phase where the hair bulb at the base of each strand weakens, and the telogen phase when weakened hair falls off." The cycle then repeats every 5 or 6 years.

So, how much hair fallout is normal?
According to the article...."An average of 100 strands of hair fall out as part of this cycle per day, but according to some studies, this rate increases twofold from September to November."
We're not sure how many of you have noticed more hair in your hairbrush, but we thought we would bring this to your beauty attention, in case you start to experience the same.

Jessica Alba Debuts Shorter Hairstyle And Trendy, Dip-Dyed Ombre Color
Alright...So when does actress Jessica Alba ever look lousy?
Probably rarely.
The glam mom of two had everyone's attention at last evening's 'ALMA Awards Show.'. We LOVED her sophisticated ensemble of a silky white blouse with frilly sleeves and maxi skirt that dazzled in silver + black beading.
The hair was a few inches shorter. We suspect that Jessica merely had her long extensions removed.
The new do was designed by celeb stylist Andy Lecompte. It features that ombre, dip-dyed 2-tone look we've discussed in 2 recent posts here at BeautyTipToday.com. Jessica is now sporting a center-parted, blunt, wavy hairstyle a few inches below her shoulders.
Apparently, the 2-tone, dip-dyed hair is still HOT, especially out in Hollywood.
If you want to copy the look, remember to FIGHT the frizz!!
Target has the entire John Frieda Frizz Ease collection to keep your locks all bouncy + healthy like Jessica Alba's.

Kim + Kanye Do Paris And London In Relaxed Fashion Chic Way
Kim + Kanye.
From Paris to London. Private planes to fancy hotels.
It's ALL good, as they say.
We like the laid-back look the super celebrity couple was jet-setting around in yesterday.
Although Kim K could pull off any hair color--dark hair is her BEST friend, and the sooner she figures this out, the better.
We are guessing the blonde Beyoncé-look will be no more after a few more weeks.
While hanging in Europe, Kim hid under a big brown floppy fedora, long, belted camel coat, grey tee shirt and leggings and lace-up stiletto booties.
Kanye had on ripped jeans, long white tee and gold chain.
Kim's been photographed in brown fedoras a few times now. Check this one out some years ago:

Stacy London Goes Ombre: Hideous Or Hot?
Is this a simple case of , er.....'What Not to Wear?'
We all love Stacy London, the host of the great, makeover TV show, but we're wondering why the fashion star let a famous colorist do this to her glorious graying mane?!
NYC's Rita Hazan is obviously loving the ombre hair color she created on the glam 44-year-old.
Hey, we're all for the latest, dip-dyed trends, but this do ain't doing it for us.
Maybe over 40 is a what NOT to do for loud, ombre hair?
We're not sure..... And we recently poked fun at Ke$ha's new rainbow bright, dip-dyed strands?!
We believe that Khloe Kardashian sports some of the loveliest ombre hair highlights in Hollywood.
Maybe, this just isn't the best pic of Stacy London's new ombre hair. If you would like to keep up with the popular trend, you CAN do it at home, too, with good results.
Try a box of this: L'Oreal Feria Wild Ombre ($12.99, at L'OrealParisUSA).

Ke$ha Radiant in Rainbow Dip-Dyed Hair?
Okay...we're just plain old to think that singer Ke$ha looks cool with her rainbow-colored highlights.
It seems just a bit too tacky/juvenile for us. But, hey-----what do we know?
Ke$ha has a unique style all her own. And we give her props for being fashion/beauty fearless.
The star was in New York City to promote her 2nd album 'Warrior.' She is currently on tour.
If you would like to try the fun, bright rainbow highlights like Ke$ha's sporting, you CAN do it with Kool-Aid.
Oh yeah, you heard us right.
We found the rainbow hair recipe for you to follow here. This comes courtesy from me-loves-me.blogspot.com.
