Michael Kors: Now Designs The Perfect Face With New Makeup Line

He's a legendary American sportswear designer, and now Michael Kors wants to 'design' the perfect face!

He spoke with the Associated Press about his new makeup collection:

"Beauty is always such an important part of my runway. When we put on a fashion show – after this many years – I’ve learned the layers and the steps. When I first start thinking mood of the season, beauty is part of it from the start."

"The right dress with the wrong makeup is still wrong," he added.

The fashion designer has a pretty-looking assortment of lipsticks, bronze powders and nail lacquers now debuting at Macy's.

We think Kors' taste is exquisite, so we would expect nothing LESS of his new makeup/beauty collection.

One tube of Michael Kors Lip Lacquer will set you back $24. Not cheap, but not the most expensive cosmetics on the block.

The award-winning designer is also launching 3 new perfumes, Sexy, Sporty and Glam.

We guess, it's good to be Michael Kors. Quite an empire he's building.

Still miss Kors as Project Runway judge. The Bravo TV show is not quite the same.

Gisele Bundchen In Beantown With Her Marvelous Mane

For more than a decade now, model Gisele Bundchen's hair has had a huge impact in the worlds of beauty and fashion.

Her enviable, sun-kissed locks have been copied over + over again by women around the world.

So many girls have resorted to hair extensions to get Gisele's sexy, beachy-wavy long hair.

The style is the supermodel's signature look, and remains that way today.

There's Gisele, relaxing in a Boston park yesterday with baby Vivian. There is no stylist around, and her mane still resembles that Victoria's Secret sexy bed-head. Oh yeah...and she appears to be enjoying a carrot, living the healthy lifestyle for real, might we add.

It's touching set of photos. No posing for the cameras.  Just a loving mom with her adorable baby daughter.

Hey, summer is almost over, but that doesn't mean you can't put in a few, sexy blonde highlights like Gisele's.

Clairol puts out a very good highlighting kit for women to use at home, according to New York City colorist Marcello Paglionico. He told InStyle magazine that this formulation really delivers, "beautiful, natural, beachy" highlights without a hint of brassiness. And because it is oil-based, it leaves hair in fantastic condition."

And the price is nice, $14.79, at CVS.

Kourtney Kardashian Goes For The Sexy, Smoky Eye To Sin City Getaway!

Sometimes, a dark-rimmed eye can steal the thunder away from everyone else. Just take a look at oldest K sister, Kourtney Kardashian!

The proud mom-of-two put on the glitz + glam as she and a bunch of gal pals headed to Las Vegas for the Labor Day holiday weekend.

We know....Most people would be distracted by Kourtney's great 'kleavage,', but we are dazzled by her sexy, smoky eye! She really looks like sis Kim in this photo.

The makeup magic is all in the dark-rimmed cat eye. She looks gorgeous!

To get that sexy smoky Kourtney eye, you will need 2 makeup essentials:

1. . Liquid eyeliner. This is a must! It creates a neater, sharper look than a pencil. But it's not easy lining eyes and then flicking the liner up at the outside edge of your eyes. It takes some practice. Too make the drawing on a little easier, look for a liquid liner that comes in felt tip form, like Wet n Wild's H2O Proof Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black ($3.99, at Walgreens). This one stays put and glides along your eyelid smoothly.

2. Mascara. In black, of course. Any brand will do.

Diane Kruger's Favorite High End Foundation

German beauty Diane Kruger has a gorgeous complexion, as you can see from the photos.

The actress is a Chanel spokeswoman, so she adores their products. And we can see why.

The brand is well-respected globally.

To achieve a flawless, natural face, Diane chooses Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Skin Perfecting Makeup ($45, at Chanel.com). It comes in 10 shades.

Diane's complexion looks so luminous + dewy. The magic is in the soft, water-like texture of this special fluid formula.

Diane swears by the Vitalumiere:

"My skin drinks this up! It's ultralight yet gives enough coverage to even out my skin tone," she tells InStyle magazine.

No matter how flawless your skin appears to be....you STILL NEED foundation. Makeup artists will tell you that foundation is protective, balance's skin tone, adds a smooth texture, and a glow to the complexion. It also hides little imperfections like dark circles, break-outs
and more.

Forty-five bucks isn't cheap for a small bottle of foundation, but it lasts a LONG time. And this one by Chanel is a winner.

Eva, Kim K + Kerry Have Done Copper Highlights: Michelle Obama Got Them, Too!

It isn't easy trying to HIGHLIGHT brunette or black hair, because it's a challenge to make it look subtle, or like it belongs there.

But, having said that, lots of celebrities have copper or honey highlights blended into their locks for added style, softness + definition.

Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian and Kerry Washington are just 3 glam ladies who LOVE playing around with sun-kissed highlights. And now First Lady Michelle Obama has joined the popular trend.

Check out Mrs. Obama at a film screening in Washington, D.C. yesterday. FLOTUS is rockin' some copper strands:

What do you think?

We give Michelle Obama's new, sun-kissed highlights the thumbs up!

The highlights are stylish, soft + playful.

The ONLY problem with highlights on a dark-haired gal--they can turn BRASSY. Trust us...we've been there.

Other than that.....Good products are key.

Add this to your shampoo---Ardell Perfector 777 Plus Packette ($1.50 for each packet, at gotbeauty.com).

"Add to shampoo to reduce damage and brassy tones from sun, wind and chlorine."

Sandra Bullock And Roselyn Sanchez: Separated At Birth?!

We're sure this has been talked about before......But don't actresses Sandra Bullock + Roselyn Sanchez look a lot alike these days?!

There's Sandra with hunky George Clooney at the Venice Film Festival.

She's 49! OMG!!

And there's a pic of 40-year-old Roselyn on the beach with her beautiful doggies.

The older Sandra becomes, the more she resembles Roselyn.
So.....what's going on?

We would suspect--excellent dermatologists for both gorgeous ladies.

Oh, please....This is the land of Hollywood.

Sandra Bullock's face has appeared much fuller with higher cheekbones in the past year or so. And with that added volume, the Academy-award winning star has been able to look more youthful and, well, start morphing into the 'Devious Maids' star Roselyn Sanchez.

Roselyn, too, has been speculated to be using a lot of cosmetic filler to further plump up her amazing, high cheekbones.

The best cosmetic fillers for super volume in the face, include Restylane, Juvederm and Perlane:

"Restylane® and Perlane® are cosmetic fillers that are injected into areas of decreased volume that show up in your face over time due to aging, smoking and the effects of gravity and sun. These fillers are hydrophilic and the purpose is to add volume, thus diminishing or almost completely eliminating fine lines and wrinkles. These techniques are also used in conjunction with plastic facial surgery. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in the body and provides volume and fullness in the skin."--plastic surgery website.

Whatever both women are doing to stay forever young ...we applaud them. We think they look great, and certainly, NOT overdone.
