Maybelline Showing Us Love With New Lots Of Lashes Mascara
We've said this before:
We are a mascara freak.
If there's one beauty product that does such incredible things to your eyes, it's the mascara. Period.
Please don't tell us that you DON'T wear mascara, because we will cry. You NEED mascara as part of your daily makeup routine.
Having said all that, it's time to talk lashes. Our favorite is always Blackest Black with any brand we try.
And today, we are re-visiting an old, loyal 'friend'----Great Lash by Maybelline. But this newer Great Lash is called, Lots Of Lashes ($5.19, at ULTA---
Buy 1, get 1 at 50% off!) And the beauty is in the heart-shaped pink grabber brush. This brush has so many little teeth to help reach every lash you've got, to help plump up the volume.
The Great Lash by Maybelline formula is still the same super product, just with a more intricate wand/brush. We've tried Lots Of Lashes and like it.

Bronzer Made Easy With Tarte's Blush & Glow
Who doesn't want to apppear sun-kissed without the added sun damage that goes along with tanning.
If you want a little resort chic, you can get it now, and you don't have to head to a sandy beach paradise. You CAN fake it, and still show off a warm, healthy glow.
Our beauty weapon of the day?
Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow Brightening Luminizer and Cheek Tint in Sunlight ($32, at Sephora). That sure is a long title for a pretty peach bronzer substitute. But you are getting a 2-in-1 beauty product---a blush tint and the higlighter or luminizer.
Just a few dabs on your cheeks, forehead, browbone, even on your lips for a soft, shimmery peach gleam that looks like you've spent some time on an exotic beach.
We like the Tarte tint/luminizer because it also contains maracuja oil from the rare Brazilian fruit. The oil is very nourishing with Vitamin C and essential fatty acids.
If you want to bathe your complexion in a shimmering, bronzy glow, this is the way to go. No tanning booth required.

Celebs Are Getting A Jump On The Jumpsuit Trend: Are You In?
*****Sorry we hadn't posted articles for the past few days. We suffered major computer snafus. But, so far, so good today!
The jumpsuit.
Oh, yeah...The trend is back, ladies! And you either love jumpsuits or despise them.
Apparently, Hollywood adores them, because we've seen a parade of style-savvy celebrities showing up in sexy onesies lately.
Here's the deal:
The jumpsuit is flattering on every gal's figure. As long as you get into the right style and cut of the jumpsuit, then you will look amazing.
We can prove this fact. Look at the celebrity jumpsuit photos. From curvy Kim Kardashian to very petite Kristen Chenoweth to tall Gwyneth Paltrow to super slim Rose Byrne, there really IS a jumpsuit for every woman.
Jumpsuits can hide a few imperfections like a bigger belly or heavier hips/thighs. And the jumpsuit allows everyone to look tall and lean with LONG legs. And who doesn't wish for that?!
We found a sexy jumpsuit at Forever21 that won't break your budget. This one isn't for the faint-of-heart, but it is following the black and sheer trend of the moment. And inexpensive at $24.80.
So, girls, are you ready to take the leap into the jumpsuit trend?
It's a sleek and slimming look. The only bad thing-----when you gotta go, well, you gotta practically remove the entire onesie just to do your business, if you get what we mean.

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott Can't Perform Without These Two Beauty Products
Hillary Scott, the lovely Lady Antebellum singer, busy with the Own the Night tour, loves doing her OWN makeup.
We find that refreshing and happy to hear. It seems like EVERY female star out there shows up pampered with a huge makeup/hair entourage. But not with this country singing beauty. And she always looks polished and modern.
Before EVERY show, she does her OWN makeup:
"It helps calm my jitters," Hillary told InStyle magazine recently.
And Hillary Scott's 2 favorite go-to beauty products include:
1. Amazing Cosmetics Powder Set ($27, at AmazingCosmetics).
"It makes everything waterproof, so I don't have to worry about my makeup sweating off."
2. Stila Long Wear Lip Color in Darling ($20, at ULTA).
"It's easier to pull off a berry lip color than a classic red. This stain has a chubby tip, so it's a cinch to apply.".
Great makeup tips, Hillary Scott!

American Idol Contestant's Drastic Hair Cut: Would You Be So Brave?
Erika Van Pelt, you are one brave chick!
To go from long blond/auburn streaked hair to a super cropped jet-black do, takes a lot of guts. And to debut the new hair cut on live TV in front of millions of American Idol viewers, well, that's evencrazier.
"I knew I wanted to do something drastic with my hair," Erika told People magazine after the show. "I get this sense of liberation when I get my hair cut. It’s a stress reliever for me, to be honest." And new A.I. image consultant, fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, encouraged the contestant to change up her look.
Another plus for the fab singer: "It’s nice to feel my neck again."
Erika is not afraid of very short hair. "It’s actually been shorter than this before, so I wasn’t scared about that part," she said. "But I was sort of thinking what my fans would think and what would America think."
Talk about a healthy dose of self-confidence. We admire you, Erika Van Pelt.
We think that Erika looks pretty with either hair color and cut. The new jet-black do is quite edgy and sophisticated. It reminds us a lot of Kardashian mama Kris Jenner's cropped cut. Or on the music side, a bit like vintage Pat Benatar.
So, the question begs:
Would you be so brave to show off a totally different hair color and hair length to millions of people?
We already know our answer. We're such a baby. No way. We've been sitting here with our too short Rooney Mara bangs, and we're still freakin' out.

New L'Oreal EverCreme: Gentle Conditioner That Cleanses Like Shampoo
Bravo to the geniuses at L'Oreal for finally developing a very unique hair product!
It's about time someone created a conditioner that also acts like a shampoo that cleanses without stripping your hair's natural oils.
The no-shampoo shampoo is called EverCreme ($6.99, at drugstores and beauty boutiques like Ulta.
Ladies, are you ready to join the low-poo revolution?
Let's face it. Some of us shampoo the heck out of our scalps. And any professional stylist will warn you, that too much shampooing can dry your hair out with the harsh sulfates that are often present as you lather. That in turn, can lead to friction which can cause breakage.
L'Oreal's first-ever Cleansing Conditioner is made up of 1 part cleanser to 3 parts conditioner. It smells like yummy vanilla and it's simple to use:
Apply to wet hair and massage into a low lather. Leave in 1-2 minutes. Rinse. No need to use a separate conditioner.
