Curly-Haired Girls' Biggest Nightmare: Frizz!!

Frizz.

We've never met anyone yet, who likes frizz. There's nothing pretty about it.

And yet, we all seem to suffer from it at some point. Take a look at the top of your head, and by the ears and around the forehead. That is where frizz frequently happens----when locks become dry and brittle and snap off, leaving these short ends of hair. Frizz can occur from over-use of styling tools, harshly combing or brushing, etc.

If you have curly hair, you delicate dears, then you fight frizz often. And if you live in a humid climate, well, you need some major frizz control.

That's why we've called in the Frizz Police. Hair experts like legendary stylist Frederic Fekkai, know how to deal with curls that fall and refuse to bounce. This handsome stylist-to-the-stars has developed an amazing cream that breathes life back into frizzed-out locks:

Fekkai Pefectly Luscious Curls Curl Shaper Cream ($25, at Nordstrom's).

The cream contains grape seed extract which smooths down frizz and adds a big, nourishing spring to curls, ringlets and waves. Just apply to towel-dried hair and shape curls with fingers or a diffuser.

Frederic Fekkai has been around many a famous head in his time. He understands everything hair-related, and is quite a hair genius. So, we would trust plunking down $25 for a styling product from his Luscious Curls Collection.

Time To Lighten Up: Lovely Lilac Nails By Essie For Spring

Lilac.

It's a hot beauty color for Spring 2012. Maybe you just can't wear lilac on your lips. Some women say it makes their teeth look less white. And others just don't like a pastel shade framing their smile.

Okay, we get that. But how about lovely lilac nails?

This is a no-brainer. We've found the perfect pale lilac for your next manicure or pedicure, just in time for, er....Easter. Well, not just for the holiday. It's refreshing to get away from all the super dark manis you've been sporting all winter long.

We adore a lilac mani. It looks like a warm spring welcome, and by the way, the first day of Spring 2012 arrives on March 20th. So, let's take a closer look:

It's called, Essie Nail Polish in To Buy or Not to Buy ($8, at Nordstrom's. The great news, this lilac lacquer is not milky-looking. Instead, it's a pretty sheer polish with fab flecks of iridescent shimmer. Really nice!

Gotta love Essie Nail Polish. It's all about the chip-resistant formula. And if this lilac shade of To Buy or Not to Buy isn't enough for you, check out the other 6 Essie colors in the lavender family:

Funny Face
Lilacism
Looking for Love
Main Squeeze
Neo Whimsical

Ivanka Trump Shoes: Ladylike And Refined With a Modern Edge

We want to dislike Ivanka Trump, but we can't. The woman is polite, intelligent, pretty, super rich, and seems to hit every note just right in all her endeavors---- from the boardroom of Daddy Trump's Apprentice show to her fine jewelry collection, and especially to her lovely footwear and new clothing line.

We adore Ivanka Trump shoes! We think the footwear is sexy and sophisticated and budget-friendly. And we've been seeing her shoes in lots of magazines and catalogues. Here's a peek from Boston Proper.

Check out those patent leather criss-cross straps and the adorable faux python accents on the 4 inch heel and ankle buckle! By Ivanka Trump ($135, at IvankaTrump.com). Sizes 5 1/2 - 10.

The Ivanka Trump line features a variety of footwear, including classic pumps for under $80.

Okay, so it's still winter, and we have yet to change the clocks and spring ahead, but we're ready! It would be nice to acquire the NYC socialite's life, if only down at our feet.

You can find Ivanka Footwear at a number of stores, including Nordstrom's, Macy's, and Zappos.com.

New Daily Peel By Exuviance: Smoother Skin--No Downtime

We've all heard of the lunchtime peel.

And now, the NeoStrata skin care experts have taken it one step further:

Say hello to the Exuviance Daily Antioxidant Peel CA10 ($65, 36 single-use pads, at ULTA).

What a brilliant beauty concept. With just a few swipes of a single pad every morning, you can watch your complexion glow, become smoother, and develop a better tone and texture.

It's all done quickly without the irritation, redness and burning that often comes with chemical peels. Exuviance Daily Antioxidant CA10 is making the peel a simple beauty task, so you can wipe a single-use pad over your cleansed face, massage in any remaining fluid, and top it off with your moisturizer. And you're good to go! No waiting around and no rinsing and neutralizing the peel away. No downtime. Period.

And you still reap the benefits of an Alpha Hydroxy Acid peel. You get excellent exfoliation and super antioxidant protection all in a single pad, one-step leave-on peel process. The magic is in the strong 10% Citric Acid formula.

We like to think we are seasoned peelers. We find that chemical peels DO deliver softer, smoother skin. Rejuvenating the complexion requires exfoliation, and peeling gives you that key step in the beauty routine.

The NeoStrata company has always shared their newest skin care products with BeautyTipToday. And we can honestly say that we trust the NeoStrata experts and their scientifically advanced formulas. Definitely worth the purchase every time.

Model Angela Lindvall Keeps Skin Care Regimen On The Natural Side

Model Angela Lindvall.

You've seen her in tons of magazine ads, and she's currently the Project Runway All Stars host.

We've learned that the blonde beauty likes to know what's in her beauty products before she buys them. Angela shuns chemicals and other ingredients that can do more harm than good. She likes it to be organic---clean and simple when it comes to skin care:

"My mother turned me on to natural products at a very young age," Angela tells OK magazine.

The 33-year-old model was a happy tomboy growing up in Missouri, where beauty and style were just not that high on her list of life:

"I loved to catch insects and frogs, run around barefoot, and play in the creek. I didn't know a thing about fashion nor did I care to."

Angela tells OK that these are some of her favorite natural skin care products:

Amazon Rain Crystal Exfoliator ($48, at amazonherb.net).

Argan Oil by Josie Maran ($48, at sephora.com).

Skin Food by Weleda ($18, at usa.weleda.com).

Denise Richards Builds Big Hair With New Styling Products Line

Lots and lots of long, shiny, healthy hair.

Not everyone's been blessed with it, but it appears that reality star Denise Richards was born with it.

For a number of years now, we have admired the gorgeous mane that sits on Denise Richard's head. She always stood out in a crowd with her super long, voluminous hair, even when extensions had not been made popular yet. And we are about 99% certain, that her locks are the REAL thing. No hair extensions for this pretty celebrity.

So, what's Denise's secret?

Maybe now we can all learn a hair tip or two, because Denise Richard's has launched her own hair care line with stylist-to-the-stars Cristophe. It's called, Denise Richards Volume Extend by Cristophe. Products in the collection start at $15 and include shampoo, conditioner and 3 styling aids.

Back in January, Denise told her fans about her plans:

"I’ve been hard at work on this project for the past few months and I am so excited to share it with you," Denise Richards wrote on her blog. "I teamed up with hairstyling guru Cristophe to create The Denise Richards Volume Extend hair care line, which strengthens and protects hair from the damage continuous styling can cause, boosting the hair’s health and volume."

Fabulous Fergie Goes Global As Wet n Wild's Beauty Ambassador

Wet n Wild makeup.

Gotta love it, and if you say you've never tried some, you're lying!

We've written about Wet n Wild cosmetics several times before, here at BeautyTipToday, and with good reason---the makeup is a budget buy and the product line is very well-made.

Just ask Fergie. The sexy singer has been named as Wet n Wild's new Global Beauty Ambassador! And we think this is a perfect appointment. The talented, glam Fergie loves playing around with makeup and putting on new trends. And she, too, raves about the cosmetics drugstore giant:

"The brand delivers amazing palettes, unquestionable quality and is incredibly affordable."

One of our favorite products is the Wet n Wild H2O Proof Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black ($3.99). Wonderful for creating the cat-eye. This one stays put and glides along your eyelid smoothly.

Wet n Wild is always right on the mark with brand new beauty products, like their MegaShield Lip Color SPF15 ($3) at your neighborhood drugstore. The lipstick offers protection from the sun and infuses lips with sheer to moderate color in a buttery soft formula. Shown here in That's Berry Beautiful. MegaShield Lip Color comes in 13 pretty shades.

We can't wait to see how Fergie's fergaliciousness inspires the Wet n Wild brand. The singer will be creating rock-star style signature makeup lines for the company.
