Model Angela Lindvall Keeps Skin Care Regimen On The Natural Side
Model Angela Lindvall.
You've seen her in tons of magazine ads, and she's currently the Project Runway All Stars host.
We've learned that the blonde beauty likes to know what's in her beauty products before she buys them. Angela shuns chemicals and other ingredients that can do more harm than good. She likes it to be organic---clean and simple when it comes to skin care:
"My mother turned me on to natural products at a very young age," Angela tells OK magazine.
The 33-year-old model was a happy tomboy growing up in Missouri, where beauty and style were just not that high on her list of life:
"I loved to catch insects and frogs, run around barefoot, and play in the creek. I didn't know a thing about fashion nor did I care to."
Angela tells OK that these are some of her favorite natural skin care products:
Amazon Rain Crystal Exfoliator ($48, at amazonherb.net).
Argan Oil by Josie Maran ($48, at sephora.com).
Skin Food by Weleda ($18, at usa.weleda.com).

Lots and lots of long, shiny, healthy hair.
Not everyone's been blessed with it, but it appears that reality star Denise Richards was born with it.

She always stood out in a crowd with her super long, voluminous hair, even when extensions had not been made popular yet. And we are about 99% certain, that her locks are the REAL thing. No hair extensions for this pretty celebrity.

Fabulous Fergie Goes Global As Wet n Wild's Beauty Ambassador
Wet n Wild makeup.
Gotta love it, and if you say you've never tried some, you're lying!
We've written about Wet n Wild cosmetics several times before, here at BeautyTipToday, and with good reason---the makeup is a budget buy and the product line is very well-made.
Just ask Fergie. The sexy singer has been named as Wet n Wild's new Global Beauty Ambassador! And we think this is a perfect appointment. The talented, glam Fergie loves playing around with makeup and putting on new trends. And she, too, raves about the cosmetics drugstore giant:
"The brand delivers amazing palettes, unquestionable quality and is incredibly affordable."
One of our favorite products is the Wet n Wild H2O Proof Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner in Ultra Black ($3.99). Wonderful for creating the cat-eye. This one stays put and glides along your eyelid smoothly.
Wet n Wild is always right on the mark with brand new beauty products, like their MegaShield Lip Color SPF15 ($3) at your neighborhood drugstore. The lipstick offers protection from the sun and infuses lips with sheer to moderate color in a buttery soft formula. Shown here in That's Berry Beautiful. MegaShield Lip Color comes in 13 pretty shades.
We can't wait to see how Fergie's fergaliciousness inspires the Wet n Wild brand. The singer will be creating rock-star style signature makeup lines for the company.

Lindsay Lohan's Face: Has The SNL Host Over-Filled?
It's great to see embattled actress Lindsay Lohan back on top and with a smile on her face. The 25-year-oldwill host 'SNL Live' tonight.
There's plenty for her to be happy about, too. Lindsay recently received high praise from the judge for her 3rd good probation report. The Mean Girls star has been complying with the requirements and doing her community service and attending therapy sessions.
Lindsay Lohan has also scored quite the acting coup after being picked to play screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime TV movie. She also recently announced that, "I am clean and sober now."
And then there's the other buzz....People have been talking about Lindsay's face. And how plumped up it appears. Is the platinum blonde actress merely in a 'good place,' and healthy? Or is it plastic surgery and/or cosmetic enhancement?
Most beauty experts would say that a young, beautiful girl would NOT need fillers or plastic surgery.
We've noticed that Lindsay looks fuller in the face, but we've also been noticing more, her very blonde hair extensions. We are certainly not a beauty doctor, but one famous surgeon who is, was not afraid to give his 2 cents to the National Enquirer:
"She appears to have a classic, over-plumped pillow face," says Dr. Anthony Youn
"Her cheeks look like she's storing nuts for the winter.
"I suspect that she's undergone multiple injections of filler like Sculptra or Restylane," he explains.
"While these treatments can create a very youthful, natural look, when overdone they can make a person look like a Cabbage Patch Doll."
That's just one expert's opinion. What do you think? Is Lindsay Lohan crazy about cosmetic fillers? Or is the star just looking rested and healthy? Check out the photos. The top shows the actress now, and the bottom pic shows her 1 year ago, this March.
Even if it is a case of filler over-fill, the substances are not permanent, and in a few months, the plumpness would gradually deflate.

DWTS' Cheryl Burke Post Work-Out Secret: Emu Oil Lotion
Just by looking at the photo of Dancing with the Stars' Cheryl Burke, you can see that she has really nice skin. And we were surprised to learn that the amazing dancer is hooked on emu oil lotion. It's her go-to beauty product after a work-out.
We've written about the benefits of emu oil before. But we didn't think the excellent emollient was that well-known. We read that Jenny McCarthy uses it all the time for a facial moisturizer, but we're happy to see that more celebrities are raving about this unique oil, and the many products that can be developed from it.
Emu oil comes from the emu, a large flightless, ostrich-like bird. Maybe not the prettiest animal on the block. But Australian aborigines were said to have discovered the anti-aging benefits of extracting this oil thousands of years ago. And what researchers have come to learn is that there is something in the oil that is compatible to human skin.
Leigh Hopkins, PhD. explained it in this manner. "The fatty acid composition of emu oil is very close to the correct composition of the fats as found in normal, human skin."
Above all, emu oil can make your skin softer and glowing.
Cheryl Burke prefers her emu oil in a lotion form. We found her favorite at the EmuStore for $15.95.
And we can see why the pro dancer loves this stuff. It contains the added benefit of Pure Emu Oil as well as the healing benefits of Mango Butter and Coconut Milk.
"After working out, I put on Emu Oil body lotion. It keeps me really hydrated."
Great beauty tip, Cheryl Burke!

Rihanna's $23K Tangled Hair Extensions Emergency In London
What a tangled web we weave, especially when it comes to instant long locks.
Rihanna is not the first celebrity to wear hair extensions, and she certainly won't be the last. Many famous women resort to costly human hair extensions. And although, the look means an incredible head of hair in any color length and texture you dream of, having fake tresses also equals a lot of TLC maintenance.
And here's how the sexy singer from Barbados got in some very expensive trouble.
According to what we've uncovered, Rihanna did the 3 S's yesterday:
Swimming. Steam. Sauna.
The Sun newspaper claims a source said this:
"When she got out, her hair was tangled and matted. She slapped a load of conditioner on but it didn't get through the mass."
Rihanna supposedly panicked, because she was scheduled for a TV appearance the next day, and since she felt uncomfortable going to a salon pro very far away from home, she flew in her own L.A. stylist Ursula Stephen immediately to London.
$23-thousand dollars later, and Rihanna is said to have had an emergency haircut. You can see the black cap she wore to cover the hair disaster.
Unforunately, Rihanna only had the blonde hair for about a month (bottom photos). She had tweeted to her fans that she had her locks bleached blonde for an Elle magazine photo shoot, and that she has a weave.
We have never had hair extensions, but we have learned that these instant hair volumizers can be quite delicate. So, here are a few important tips from GlamourHair.com to maintaining those new, long locks:
How do I wash them?
Wash the hair in one direction. From top to bottom. Avoid washing hair upside down in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair and add the most moisture. Wash hair right after swimming. When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from shedding or stretching.
Can I swim and go in the ocean?
You may go in swimming pools and hot tubs. Wash hair right after swimming. Avoid getting hair in salt water as the salt can take all the moisture out of the hair and it can tangle. Never braid your hair and go in salt water. It is best to wear it down. Use a leave-in detangler and glossifier after swimming.
Rihanna has had just about every hair color on the planet and hairstyle, too. She's very chameleon-like in how she approaches beauty. She's always unafraid to mix it up and try something new, so we look forward to the superstar's next trendsetting do.
