It Pays To Have Great Makeup Artist: Kim Kardashian Taps Mario For Wedding

It's Kim Kardashian's big wedding day!

The Calfornia reality TV star will walk down the aisle this evening, as she weds NBA player Kris Humphries.

There's been tons of talk about the $30 million wedding, the $20,000, 10-tier cake, the 2 Vera Wang wedding gowns, each at $25,000, the 500 invited guests, and so on.

Who knows how much is actially true.

What we do know, is that it pays to have a super-talented, professional makeup artist in Mario Dedivanovic. He is the magic man in our humble opinion. He is the master who transforms the lovely Kim Kardashian into a gorgeous glam beauty, time and time again.

And for her most important moment today, it is Mario, whom Kim has tapped to do her marriage makeup. Check out Mario Dedivanovic's makeup blog here. The guy is a genius artist.

Rarely, do we catch the dark-haired 30-year-old WITHOUT makeup. In fact, Kim K once refused to make a red carpet appearance because her makeup artist forgot to bring along her all-important faux lashes.

But here are a couple of Kim without makeup pics. Still pretty, but lacking the signature glamour punch we all know her by.

We can't wait to see the over-the-top Kim/Kris nuptials!

Tune into E! at 6 PM tmorrow evening for some super Kardashian wedding footage!

New Promising Melanoma Skin Cancer Pill Just Approved By FDA

Here is some encouraging news about skin cancer, and the great strides scientists are making.

The pill is called, Zelboraf, and it goes after the specific gene found in melanoma. And by now, most of us have learned, that melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, about 68,000 people in the U.S. were diagnosed last year and 8,700 died.

The FDA (Food & Drug Administration) has given the green light to the pill, which is being made by Roche. And it's very good news, because melanoma is a tough cancer to tackle, and there have not been many treatment options for it.

"The FDA's quick action on this drug approval is important because it gives melanoma patients a new way to fight this deadly disease," Timothy Turnham, director of the Melanoma Research Foundation, said in a statement.

Zelboraf zeroes in on a mutated form of the melanoma gene, slowing down tumor growth.

There can be side effects with taking Zelboraf, including--hair loss, joint pain, diarrhea, fatigue and skin rashes.

Roche says the drug will be available in about 2 weeks.

Doll Lashes Big For Fall 2011: Think 'Black Spider'

The Lanvin fall 2011 runway batted long, thick fringe to the adoring crowd, as models showed off doll lashes created with tons and tons of mascara. And that dramatic fringe has made its way to the 'real world,' as a bunch of new, volumizing mascaras make their way on to store shelves.

Think black spider. Think Twiggy. Er...think Kardashian. Yep. Both top and bottom lashes get the full treatment, resulting in a doll-like set of lashes. It's an intense, spider-y look for the eyes.

All you need are 3 beauty items to achieve doll lashes:

1. Eyelash curler.
2. Volumizing black mascara.
3. Eyelash comb.

You need to curl your lashes, ladies. We've talked about this several times before. Curling makes lashes look longer and fuller, and allows your eyes to look bigger.

Next, you need a darn good mascara, one that lets you build layer upon layer. Lancome has just introduced Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara ($25, now at Dillards, and then nationwide this September). It features a cone-shaped brush that lets you fill in all those hard-to-reach lashes. And the formula is fiber-shiny. No clumping---just wonderful jet black mascara that you can layer and layer.

3. The last step is crucial. You need to separate each layer of mascara. The Lancome Hypnose Doll Lash brush is good, but we would also advise investing in a decent, metal eyelash comb. Brush through each mascara coat again and again, on both top and bottom lashes.

Once again, it's very trendy to over-dose on the mascara. What would we do without it?

Doll lashes, here we come!

Beauty Tip Today Counts Samy Fat Hair Thickening Spray As One Of The Best

Maybe it's the hydrolyzed wheat protein found in Samy Fat Hair 0 Calories Thickening Spray that delivers the big hair we want.

Beauty Tip Today is always on the hunt for the perfect big hair styling product. And we want to go on the record, that we rank Samy Fat Hair as one of the best for big hair!

The product has been around for about a year now, and we just discovered the thickening spray over the weekend. And we LOVE it!

This Samy stuff rocks! The formula consists of Samy's exclusive FH4 Thickening Complex - a blend of natural extracts and proteins, designed to increase the hair's diameter, creating a fuller, thicker head of hair.

The thickening spray is NOT sticky or greasy-heavy. It's a light texture that is able to build-up volume on thin, wimpy locks. And it smells great---reminds us of a nice, beach-y mist.

And we like that you can apply Samy Fat Hair 0 Calories Thickening Spray ($8.99, 6 oz. at Walgreens), on either damp or dry hair.

If you're looking for bigger hair with better body and more oomph, then give this product a go! Thumbs up from Beauty Tip Today!

K Sisters Debut Sears Kardashian Kollection on E! Reality Show

This ain't your mama's washing machine.

Oh, no! The Sears company has just made a brilliant fashion move, one that creates a new image for the famous dept. store that's basically been known for its many appliances.

But now the K sisters are in town! Actually, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian seem to be everywhere these days. And last night on E!'s 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians,', television viewers got to see the launching of the sisters' latest money-making venture: The Kardashian Kollection for Sears.

The Kollection arrives in 400 Sears stores on August 25, but you can already shop for Kardashian dresses, shoes, tops, pants, handbags, and more online at Sears.com. Use coupon code Kardashian and get 30% off for a limited time. Just in time for back-to-school shopping, too.

John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home, told 'Good Morning America': 'When you think of Sears you think of appliances, you think of tools. How do you get people's perception to change around clothing and apparel?

'That's where the girls are going to do an amazing job - bringing in a new audience.'

We think Sears is very smart. Whether you adore or hate the K sisters, they do get lots of attention, lots of fans, and know how to do darn good public relations. The Kardashians are very savvy marketers and have a pulse on what young women want.

We took a look, and you might be pleasantly surprised. The Kollection is sophisticated with most pieces in black. We saw the lowest price for an article of clothing at $42, and the highest price at $99.

Stay tuned. We will be watching the Sears Kardashian Kollection, and how the style evolves.
