At-Home Hair Color Just Got Easier With New Clairol Color Foam


Nice 'n Easy. That's how we like our at-home hair color application to go.

The good news: a drip-free foam. How great is that?! Good-bye messy , staining- everywhere hair color. The other interesting tidbit---this is not exactly new news. We wrote about the supposedly first foam at-home hair color last Oct 30th at BeautyTipToday.

Well, it was only a matter of time before the Clairol giants would join the color foam beauty bandwagon. It must be a smart concept, or Clairol wouldn't also debut their own foam hair color.

And since, we, too, are an at-home hair color consumer, at least much of the time, we will try one of these big, fat balls of color foam and see if it really covers all the grays, like these companies swear it does.

John Frieda Lets Blondes Go Even Blonder With New Lightening Spray

Rough Skin And No Moisturizer? Reach For Crisco Says Dr. Wu


Crisco. We know it makes a darn good pie crust. But it also makes for softer skin, according to celebrity dermatologist and beauty expert Dr. Jessica Wu.

We're not sure how the CEOs of major skin care companies we have interviewed for BeautyTipToday, would feel about tossing out their expensive creams and serums for a tub of all-vegetable shortening, but let's examine this further.

First of all.....do NOT throw away your skin care products. But let's be honest. The damage we do to our faces and bodies over a span of time, does not just occur because of too much time in the sun. Sure, tanning is responsible for many of the fine lines and wrinkles, but what you consume on a daily basis, plays a large role, too.

Rose Water: One Of Finest Natural Products For Skin


Rose water. It's one of the best toners we have ever used for our face and body. And we just read that actress Liv Tyler sets her makeup with a quick spritz of rose water. Smart girl, because the mist has a firming effect on skin.

Under 30: Treat Wrinkles With Dr. Perricone's Super Skin Care Line

Wrinkles. You never really worried about developing 'those,' until you got into your 40s. But, oh, have times changed. Young women do become anxious about a few fine lines and nasty little things like crow's feet.

Look at just-turned-30 reality TV star Kim Kardashian. She was getting Botox-ed before she turned the big 3-0. And she swore she would never get injected like that again because she allegedly got swollen eyes from the jabbing. We like to think, that the Kardashian sisters are not strangers to skin care quick fixes like Botox and company.

The under 30 age group has become a new target for the skin care experts like Connecticut-based dermatologist Nicholas Perricone. His Super line of botanically based skin care products comes in bright and cheerful packaging with a bull's eye on them, says Daniel Giles, the senior vice president for marketing at Perricone.

We like to think.....It's never too late to start protecting yourself against wrinkles.
