Get Beautiful Bare Bikini Skin With Hair Inhibitor Moisturizer

Bare skin. We show plenty of it in the scorching summer days. But trying to keep up with smooth, hairless skin isn't easy.

If you can afford it, waxing is the best way to remove unwanted hair on the body and even a stray hair or two on the face. You really get smooth skin instantly. And those bothersome, little hairs, take longer to grow back again. But most of us shave with a razor. It's the cheapest way to get rid of body hair.

But you can also slow-wwww down hair growth with a unique beauty product called Completely Smooth for Body ($42, at completelybare.com.

So, what does Completely Smooth do??

It's what you call, a hair inhibitor. Aha! The formula includes the plant extract Capi-slow, and does exactly what the name says. The moisturizer slow-wwwws down hair growth between waxing, shaving, or laser hair removal treatments.

According to the website, Completely Smooth for Body is quite effective:
"It is clinically proven to visibly diminish hair texture by up to 55%, density by up to 50% and length by up to 30%. Apply the formula, twice a day, over the areas where you would like to reduce the growth of hair and watch as hair comes in finer and smoother".

Completely Bare sells a bunch of smooth, bare skin products.

Show your bikini body some love. With this darn heat wave going on and on, bare skin is definitely in.

How Many Bras Does A Gal Really Need? We Can Help

Bras. Most of us seem to need them. And comfort is key when it comes to wearing one.

Did you know that the most popular bra size here in the U.S. is a 36C?! Hmmm, well, we certainly got robbed.

We've always wondered, exactly how many bras does a gal need?. We'll get to that one, in a moment.

First, we already know that a nude or skin-tone bra is a life-saver, because it can almost disappear under even a slightly sheer white top. But then again, no two complexions are the same. So, how do you find the perfect nude bra?

Right here. It's called, My Skins bras. And these bras come in 20 different flesh tone shades. Simply, hold the My Skins special cut-out color card against the middle of your bosom, and select the closest hue.

As far as buying bras, the experts suggest, that at the least, a woman should own 3-5 everyday bras. That's what fit expert for Vanity Fair, Tiffany Aschenbrenner says. You also need a high-impact sports bra and a convertible strapless number for special occasions, she adds.

The smart thing to do, is rotate the bras throughout the week. "This will minimize stretch and extend a bra's life from regular wear and tear," Tiffany told InStyle magazine.

When it comes to caring for bras, we've been told that hand-washing is better than machine-washing.

And the best stuff to wash your bras with? Don't laugh. We heard from another expert, that a mild shampoo is great for cleaning bras.

A Little Body Bling And Natural Glow Help Make Legs Look Slimmer

Ladies...let's face it. We all want slimmer, more toned-looking legs. And since it's summer, and our legs see a lot of action out and about, we thought we would explore the world of bronzing lotions and beauty products that give your legs a healthy glow.

Need a little more bling? Jennifer Lopez is always wearing some. And why not? Her fave makeup artist, Scott Barnes, created a super bronzing lotion called Body Bling ($38, scottbarnes.com).

This little bronzer can give you flawless, glowing legs with a quick smooth application. And Scott Barnes is big on bronzers. He also makes some great ones for the face, as well.

The experts suggest always applying these bronzers or natural 'tanners' in a circular motion to prevent streaking. Great advice.

Next, we have one of our go-to-beauty products for long, lean legs. It's Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs ($13.99, at drugstores).

We like to think of Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs as spray-on pantyhose. It comes in 4 blendable shades: light glow. medium glow. tan glow. deep glow.

The spray won't cover imperfections like spider veins completely, but the beauty product does minimize bothersome leg issues. Plus the formula is water-resistant, weightless, and moisturizing with Vitamin K.

We have used the spray in medium glow. It gives a lovely sheen with a nice shade of a light tan. The color is pretty. It isn't an orange streaky hue.
We also hear many women raving about Jergen's New Natural Glow Firming Moisturizer ($9, at drugstores). This formula will slowly build up a natural-looking glow for your legs and other parts of your body.

And an added benefit, says Jergens....their firming lotion is also, "clinically proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite in as little as 7 days>"

Now, that's wonderful news. Lightly tanned, glowing legs that look slimmer, toned, and without cellulite! Sounds super to us.

Refreshing body sprays! A lot cheaper than your favorite perfume or cologne.

When it's hazy, hot, and humid for several days in a row now, you want to smell pretty and cool, and the best way to do that, is with a wonderful, intoxicating body spray. Just pop a bottle in the fridge, and when you need a lovely spritz or two, you will really enjoy the feeling.

Victoria's Secret has some of the best body sprays out there, especially from their Secret Garden Collection. One of their most popular, is Victoria's Secret Body Mist in Love Spell.

Beautiful Indian actress Freida Pinto is very taken with Love Spell. "The scent is very soothing. I spritz it on my neck and forearms," she says.

Most body sprays or body mists have sweet, fruity aromas. And in this case, Love Spell is a rich blend of peach, cherry blossom and white jasmine. A soothing mist, with moisturizing Aloe Vera and calming Chamomile. It will leave your skin kissed with softness and a sensuous scent. Mist on after shower or bath. Or in our case, spritz on before and after going out into the scorching heat wave!

Skin Serum Bio-Oil: Bunch Of Baloney Or Does It Heal?

Bio-Oil.

You've probably heard about this popular and inexpensive skin serum for quite some time now. The beauty product has been designed for improving the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and uneven skin tone, aging and dry skin.

The Bio-Oil company boasts about its special formula, which includes PurCellin Oil. This ingredient is related to the oil from a duck's gland. No kidding. PurCellin Oil supposedly helps targeted absorption into the skin. Oil from a duck's gland?!! Is this a bunch of baloney? Or has Bio-Oil really tapped into the fountain of youth?!

According to the Bio-Oil people, this is how the duck oil figures into the beauty formulation:
PurCellin Oil is a recreation of the preen gland oil of ducks. "During preening, a duck secretes oil from its preen gland and distributes it over its entire plumage in the familiar twisted-neck action that one often associates with ducks. This oil creates a thin, non-greasy layer on the surface of the feathers without which water would not pearl off and the bird would struggle to swim. This ingredient acts as a delivery system for Bio-Oil's other ingredients, improving spreadability and allowing for targeted absorption into the skin."

Bio-Oil
is supposed to work wonders on stretch marks, and the testimonials we have read, indicate, that the stuff lessens the purple/red marks and softens their overall appearance.

The product is quite inexpensive at just $11.99 for a 2 fl. oz. bottle that goes a long way. And it's available at your neighborhood drugstore.

Check out fans of the product here.

Celebrities Like Kelly Ripa: Scary Skinny Or Just Perfect?

Scary skinny.......or just perfect?!
The debate continues for superstar celebrities like daytime TV's Kelly Ripa.

We know that the cute and popular celebrity works out like crazy and watches what she eats. And at age 37, and a terrific mom of 3, with a hectic schedule, some would say that Kelly Ripa looks darn amazing, with very little body fat.

But is she too thin?? Some call her skeletal, emaciated, anorexic, and not a good role model for young women. Television adds 10-15 lbs., so Kelly Ripa must be even tinier in person.

Kelly's been sculpting her body over for a few years now. We know that she admired Madonna's ripped arms, and wanted a pair just like them. And now, you can catch her on Regis and Kelly going sleeveless often. She is proud of her muscle tone.

But we just caught a glimpse of the star photographed last Tuesday, out and about with two of her children, Joaquin and Lola. And well, she looked extremely thin. In fact, little Lola's legs appeared to be even bigger than mom, Kelly's.

Are we being too harsh on this major celebrity? We know a number of men who find Kelly Ripa to be 'just perfect.' They love her fit body and don't mind her minimal curves. We also find plenty of websites that celebrate Kelly Ripa's ultra skinny silhouette, websites that young girls flock to, to learn her dieting and exercise tips. We're just not sure, that most young girls are using sound diets tips to get there. In other words, do such celebrity bodies like Kelly Ripa's encourage a healthy lifestyle or one that encourages a possible eating disorder.

This is what Kelly Ripa told Fitness Magazine last February:
A lot of women think if they didn't exercise in their 20s, there's no way they can start at 35 or 40. You've done it. What's the secret?
KR: I was the same way about exercise. I didn't do it in my 20s and I was like, it's too late to start now. I figured, I work in an industry where there's a stylist and a makeup artist -- they'll make me look fine. But I began feeling tired -- just playing in the park with my kids wore me down. I thought, "Geez, I'm kind of young to be feeling this way." So I started walking on a treadmill. Then I started jogging on a treadmill. Then I began jogging outside. Now I'm running outside, three to five miles, and taking toning classes.
At what point did you notice changes in how your body looked?
KR: A month or two after I started working out, I wore a sleeveless turtleneck to work. Regis was like, "Ripa, your arm muscles look incredible!" It was the first time anybody had ever said anything to me about my muscles. And because I am a vain person, that's all I needed to hear to stay with it."

Scary Skinny.....or just perfect? You decide.
