It's Nicely Nude Nails For Fall 2014: Palest Pink Works, Too

If you watched the 2014 Emmy Awards last Monday evening, then you might have noticed understated manicures.

That's right. Celebrities like glamorous model Heidi Klum were showing off pretty dresses (this one by pal Zac Posen), and the hot trend for Fall 2014:

Nude nails or pale pink nails or a combo of both.

To copy Heidi's nude nails try OPI's China Glaze, a creamy, chic nude ($8.11).

If you prefer a bit more color, another runway look for Fall 2104 featured Essie's Mademoiselle, a classic, pale pink ($8.50).

At Alexander Wang's Fall 2014 show, Michelle Saunders for Essie created a chalky, soft beige combo, by painting one coat of Mademoiselle (a natural pink) and one coat of Sand Tropez (a latte color) on top.
