Lorri Goddard-Clark has colored some of the most famous heads in Hollywood including Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, and Drew Barrymore. So, she definitely understands how hair mishaps can have us all freaking out from time to time.

Hair color accidents do happen, and when you're coloring at home, you can run into some common problems. And today, we're talking about hair color that comes out TOO dark.

Remember....in the world of hair color 101:
It's always easier to go DARKER. But when you do, and don't like the TOO dark, well, trying to undo it, can be tricky.

Lorri Goddard-Clark has a simple, safe solution, ladies. Here's the advice she recently gave to InStyle magazine:

Mix 1 cup baby shampoo and 2 Tbsps. baking soda. Apply to hair for 5 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly.

Lorri swears that 80% of the color should come out when you rinse.

Great hair tip!
