We know. Most of you love a good cup of coffee. And we are happy to give you Consumer Reports' New List Of the Best Tasting Coffee for 2009. This little nugget is coming out in their March issue.
You will learn that a great-tasting cup of joe does not have to cost a lot. But we also found some disturbing news for women who love drinking as little as 3 cups of coffee a day. If you believe the latest scientific study published in the British Journal of Cancer, then this is quite stunning:
Drinking caffeine over an extended period of time makes women's breasts shrink.
The New York Post was the first media outlet where we picked up this information. Read on:
"A new study has found that drinking caffeine over an extended period of time makes women's breasts shrink. Unfortunately, the same study also found that gals may have to make a hard choice between breast size and breast safety, because drinking caffeine also helps protect against cancer. According to the research, regular drinking of as little as three cups daily a day can have an enough of an impact on estrogen levels to cause noticeable bosom reduction."
Well, ladies, if you can look forward to a good cup of coffee after that little stat, then let's take a look at Consumer Reports which studied 19 ground coffees.
The clear cut winner, and a cost-saving brand at that---Eight O'Clock Coffee.
Yes, the 15-cents a cup favorite beat out the snob brands like Starbucks and popular supermarket choice Folgers.
2nd best-tasting coffee: Caribou Coffee Colombia Timana.
3rd best-tasting coffee: Kickapoo Coffee Organic Colombia.
According to Consumer Reports' Bob Markovich, there is something, well, 'fruity in flavor' about the high scoring coffees.
"What made them good is they tended to be fragrant with floral and earthy notes, so this is the kind of coffee you can drink even when it's black," Markovich said. "When you start to go down the list of stuff that isn't as good, you're going to probably want to add milk or sugar or cream."
The complete list of best-tasting coffee will appear in the March issue of Consumer Reports magazine.
In the meantime, all you coffee-loving sisters out there, don't become too freaked out over the findings. The study's author, Helena Jernstroem of the University of Sweden, claims that your bosom will not pull an instant abracadabra .
"Coffee-drinking women do not have to worry that their breasts will shrink to nothing overnight," said Jernstroem, who came across the findings during a cancer-research study.
"They will get smaller, but the breasts aren't just going to disappear," she added.

Eight O clock coffee is cheaper than Starbucks, obviously, but i'm not so sure they can beat the Bux in taste
